We’re rebuilding.
A new skills management platform, thought through down to the smallest detail. From the ground up, full time and without compromise.
All in
Since spring 2026, Sparqs has been the only thing we do. We left other jobs and consulting assignments to give our product the time, focus and care it demands. Our goal is for customers to see it not as one option among many, but as the obvious choice.
Software people want to use
Today, many skills systems run on obligation. Employees update their profile when their manager asks. The data reflects it. We know that pattern well from the consulting business.
We’re building a platform worth spending time on, for the employee as much as for the manager and the salesperson. When a system gives something back, people use it. And only then does it become valuable.
How we work
-
We don’t guess.
We recognise a problem before it gets expensive: a data model that will hurt in a few years, an assumption that doesn’t hold, a shortcut that costs twice as much later. That kind of knowledge is hard to learn from a book. It comes from having lived through the problems ourselves.
-
AI where it makes a difference.
Of course we use AI in our development. It makes us faster and raises the quality. But what gets built and how it works under the surface is our call.
-
We don’t sell promises.
If something is only a plan, we call it a plan. What we want feedback on, we show. As soon as the product is ready for real users, we’ll launch it. Not a day later.
For those of you using A1
Business as usual. Until it gets better.
For you, A1 works exactly as before and we take the same responsibility as always. The only change is that we no longer sell A1 to new customers. Our time goes into its successor. When it’s ready, you’re first in line.
Two people. One product.
Sparqs is run by Daniel Lardell and Andreas Brink. Behind us are more products, software projects and deals than we care to count. Every one of them taught us something. Now we’re putting all that experience into one thing: the system that’s missing for companies that make their living selling expertise.
The door is open
Right now, all our time goes into product development, not sales. But we’re happy to talk with anyone who’s curious about what we do and how we work. Or with anyone who wants to help build it.
